PC
Multiple components can be combined. In this combination, you can adjust the layout style and batch move/resize components, making the dashboard style more attractive.
For details, see Component Combination.
Mobile Terminal
After upgrade to the latest mobile plugin, you can combine components in the mobile terminal layout.
Especially in KPI card scenarios, component combination can enhance the style unity and attractiveness.
Traditional list-style directories take up a lot of directory space. In addition, pagination/hierarchical designs are needed if template content has multiple levels. In this case, you need to scroll the mouse wheel up and down to find needed dashboards.
Now you can customize combinations to combine dashboards and navigation modes through different structures.
For details, see App Encapsulation.
Crosstabs allow you to drag Indicator Name into row/column dimensions to design complex headers and display more data information.
For details, see Indicator Name.
The Indicator Name function also supports custom grouping.
You can add Indicator Name in different positions of the row/column dimensions to meet the table diversity requirements.
Application Scenario
Scene 1:
Several indicators from multiple columns of indicators can be grouped into one in a specified module for clear classification.
Scene 2:
Multiple indicator columns can be arranged horizontally for more user-friendly crosstab viewing experience.
Scene 3:
From the perspective of business indicators, the key is to evaluate and understand the overall performance.
If the focus is key business indicators such as the gross profit, the analysis key is the annual performance of products at different sales levels.
Scene 4:
Business indicators of various products and services can be tracked from the perspective of SKU.
Scene 5:
In crosstab scenes, the order of displaying dimensions and indicators can be adjusted to analyze the changes in different dimension classifications according to the indicators.
Scene 6:
If only one indicator is available, the indicator name does not need to be displayed to avoid information duplication.
You can separately set the background color and font style for the summary row and in-group summary row to enrich the table style effect and meet users' diverse needs.
For details, see Summary Row/Column.
In FineBI 6.0.15 and later versions, component paddings can be configured. For components, especially those posting special requirements such as indicator cards, you can resize the padding to the top, bottom, left, and right separately for components.
If Component Padding is set to 0, the component has no padding, enhancing its attractiveness. The following figure shows the display effect.
For details, see Component Padding.
For multi-series bar charts, you can adjust the inter-bar spacing to modify the bar chart display density under Graphic Property > Size.
For details, see Multi-Series Bar Chart.
The following figure shows the display effect for each inter-bar spacing.
You can set pie charts to be filled or hollow by one click under Graphic Property > Radius.
For details, see Pie Chart.
The mark point style can be modified for line charts. For multi-series line charts, you can distinguish indicator trends through colors and mark points, enriching the display style of line charts.
For details, see Common Line Chart.
The following figure shows the display effect.
You can set Polar Axis to Polygon or Round, and set the mark point style, enriching the radar chart style.
For details, see Radar Chart.
In 6.0.15 and later versions, you can set Style for gauges to modify the size, style, tick mark thickness, and rounded corner status (enabled/disabled).
For details, see Setting Gauge Styles.
You can create gauges with richer styles according to your own needs.
In 6.0.15 and later versions, you can modify the color of areas whose data values are empty on the maps to distinguish these areas. For example, you can set the color of Los Angeles with empty data value to red.
Built-in map files of FineBI have been updated to version 2023. You can replace the resource package in the directory. For details, see Map File Update.
(1) Download the resource package map.
(2) Decompress the downloaded map package and paste the obtained files to %FineBI_HOME%\WebReport\WEB-INF\assets\map to replace the original files, as shown in the following figure.
You can set partition lines for partition charts. You can customize the line type (dashed or solid), line width, and line color of the axis, as shown in the following figure.
For details, see Partition Line.
