The business package permission has been renamed to the data permission, which supports setting the permission separately for the data table.
Secondary administrators need to be able to add/edit/delete database tables, SQL datasets, and Excel datasets under the specified business package.
The super-manager grants the management authority to the sub-manager's business package, and the sub-manager can create a new table under the business package.
The super-manager grants the management authority to the sub-manager table, and the sub-manager can edit/delete the table with the privilege.
Note: This article does not introduce the management permissions of self-service datasets. For details, please refer to:Self-service dataset management permissions .
Since only the "BI design user" can edit the data table, it is necessary to set the user classification for the secondary pipe first.
Log in to the data decision-making system with Super Manager, click "Manage> User", select the platform user, and add the secondary manager eoco to "BI Data Processing User", as shown in the following figure:
Please select the appropriate design user type according to the table type that the secondary tube needs to handle.
design user
table type
data analysis user
Support for adding Excel datasets and self-service datasets
Support editing privileged database tables, SQL datasets, Excel datasets, and self-service datasets
data processing users
Support for adding new database tables, SQL datasets, Excel datasets, and self-service datasets
Example in this chapter: Assign permissions to the secondary manager eoco, so that eoco can create/edit/delete database tables/SQL datasets.
The secondary manager not only needs to have the management authority of "database table/SQL data set", but also needs to have the permission to use the data connection called by "database table/SQL data set".
The super administrator logs in to the data decision system, clicks "Manage>Permission > Global Settings", opens the "Data Connection Control" button, and clicks "Save". As shown below:
Note: If the "Data Connection Control" button is not turned on, the default user does not have the permission to use any data connection.
The administrator logs in to the data decision system, clicks "Manage> Permission > General permission configuration", and selects the rights carrier "Department/Role/User". In this example, the user eoco is selected.
Select the "Data Connection" Tab, and configure the "Use" permission of the data connection "FRDemo, BIDemo, BIdemo,ENTableConnect,Data Connections" for eoco , as shown in the following figure:
"Fuctional Data" for eoco , as shown in the following figure:
The secondary manager eoco logs in to the data decision-making system and clicks "Data Preparation".
1) You can create a new database table in the business package under the group "Functional Data", only data connections and server datasets with permission are supported.
You can create a new SQL data set in the business package under the group "Function Data". Only data connections with permission are supported.
2) The "Modify SQL, Edit" operation can be performed on the SQL data set with data connection authority in the group "Function Data".
"Edit" operations can be performed on the database tables in the group "Function Data".
Example in this chapter: Assign permissions to the secondary manager eoco, so that eoco can create/edit/delete Excel datasets.
The administrator logs in to the data decision system, clicks "Manage>Permission > General permission Configuration", and selects the rights carrier "Department/Role/User". In this example, the user eoco is selected.
"Function Data" for eoco , as shown in the following figure:
1) You can create a new Excel data set in the business package under the group "Functional Data".
2) You can edit and update the Excel data set in the group "Function Data".
