Funnel Chart

1. Overview

1.1 Application scenarios

The funnel chart is an analysis tool that visually expresses the transformation in the business process. It is suitable for process analysis with relatively standardized business processes, long cycles, and multiple links. The trapezoid area is used to indicate the difference between the business volume of a link and the previous link. From top to bottom, the funnel chart has a logical sequence relationship, which shows the completion of business goals as the business process advances.

The basic requirements of the funnel chart:

Advantages: It is suitable for displaying classified data that changes with the process.

Disadvantages: It is not suitable for expressing classification comparison without logical order.

2. Example

2.1 Create component

1) Click "Dashboard" Tab, select "New Dashboard". Click "OK". As shown below:

2) Click "Add component", choose "Internet industry" and click "OK". As shown below:

3) Drag the field "The final stage of the visit" under the dimension of the area to be analyzed into Dimensions and drag the field "Counter" into indicator:

4) Select funnel chart in chart type and it can be created successfully. As shown below:

5) Drag the field "The final stage of the visit" into the color and tag column in Graphic Properties:

2.2  Component style settings

Set the legend. Select component style, click to uncheck "display" the legend. As shown below:

At the same time, you can also set the grid lines, background, adaptive display, etc.

2.3 Dimension field settings

Click on the field "The final stage of the visit" in the tab of the graphic properties, select the drop-down menu and select "Custom sort...", set the sort to "Searching-Browsing products-Adding to cart-placing an order-Paying-Successful transaction". Click "OK":
