The custom chart allows users to make a variety of combination charts to meet the needs of users for more free exploration.

For example, a combination of column chart and area chart can be realized, as shown in the following figure:

1.3 Feature introduction

Custom chart can freely set the shape and corresponding attributes.

2.1 Create component

Create a new dashboard, and create a component, select "ORDERS" under "Package", as shown in the following figure:

2) Now the chart type is a custom chart, and drag fields into the analysis area, and change the grouping of "SIGNDATE" to "Year Quarter", as shown in the figure below:

2.2 Change the shape

Select the graphic properties and change the shape of "PAID" to area, as shown in the figure below:

Note: Only "Custom Chart" can change the shape under the graph properties.

Adjust the order of the "AMOUNT" and "PAID" fields to switch the layer of the column chart and the line chart.

Users can customize the shape of the chart according to their needs to form a variety of combination charts.
