ClickHouse is a column-oriented database management system (DBMS) for online analytical processing (OLAP) of queries.

This article will introduce how FineBI connects with ClickHouse.

2.2.1 Install the driver isolation plugin

To avoid conflicts between the database driver JAR package and the BI JAR package, the user needs to install the driver isolation plug-in first.

Download the driver ClickHouse isolation plug-in fr-plugin-clickhouse-driver-loader-2.0.zip, and install it. For the installation method, please refer to Plug-in Installation section 2.2.

2.2.2 Put the data base driver in the corresponding folder

1) Download and decompress the compressed package in 2.1 configuration information;

2) Create a new file named clickhousedriverlib under the FineBI path %FineBI%/webapps/webroot/WEB-INF, and put the decompressed JAR package into this folder, as shown in the following figure:

3) Restart FineBI.

2.2.3 Connect to FineBI

1) Log in to FineBI, select "Management System>Data Connection>Data Connection Management", click "New Data Connection", and select ClickHouse under all options, as shown in the figure below:

2) Enter your own configuration information according to section 2.1, an example is shown in the figure below:

3) Click Test Connection, click Save after the connection is successful, as shown in the figure below:

ClickHouse data connection is added successfully.
