Splice different text in one column of data

1. Overview

1.1 Expected effect

The user needs to stitch together different pieces of text in a column of data and separate them with".",  as shown in the following figure.

1.2 Implementation idea

Use the self-service dataset group summary function to splice all the salesman corresponding to the primary channel.

Add a new column Use the SUBSTITUTE function to modify the splice join symbol.

2. Example

Example data: "Financial analysis of organizational performance of marketing line" in FineBI built-in data.

2.1 Create a self-Service dataset

Select "Add Table > Self-Service Dataset" in the business package, as shown below.

Select "Financial analysis of organizational performance of marketing line" under the "Theme Scene" package, and select "team" and "Salesman" fields, as shown below

Click "+", select "Filter", and filter out the data with empty "team", as shown in the figure below.

2.2 Make a splice

Click "+", select "Group Summary", drag "team" into the group column, drag "salesman" into the summary column, and change the summary method to "String Splicing", as shown in the following figure.

2.3 Modify splice connection symbols

Click "+" to select "New Column" and modify the new column name to "Replace Splice Symbol", enter the replacement formula SUBSTITUTE (salesman, "/", ".") and click "OK", as shown in the following figure.

Just change the name of the self-service dataset and save it.
