Indicators converted to dimensions

1.1 Application scenarios

When the user needs to put the numerical field in the dimension column of the area to be analyzed, the "convert to dimensions" function can be used.

1.2 Function introduction

The default grouping method of numeric dimension fields is "interval grouping". If users need to list all the values, they need to change the grouping method to "merge same items as a group".

2. Operation steps

2.1 Convert indicators to dimensions

Select "Last year profits" and click the "drop-down> Convert to Dimensions", as shown in the figure below:

2.2 Making components

We can use the fields derived from the indicator conversion dimension to make components. Drag the "Last year profits" converted to a dimension to the dimension column, and drag "Counter" into the the indicator , and the ijndicator is automatically grouped by interval. As shown below:

By default, the default grouping method for numeric dimension fields is "interval grouping", and "last year profits" is divided into five groups, as shown in the following figure:

2.3 Change the grouping method

If the user needs to list all the values, he can change the "interval grouping settings" to "merge same items as a group" so that all the last year profits can be seen.

The value with the same profit 1800 is 2, as shown in the following figure:
