  • Recent Updates: April 25, 2022
  • 1. Overview

    1.1 Expected effect

The user needs to filter out the "Employee ID" data where the "Gender" is female, and the "Gender" field is not expected to appear in the table, as shown in the following figure:

    4.png

    1.2 Implementation ideas

Method 1: Perform "detail filtering" on the analysis area "Employee ID", and the filter condition is that "Gender" is equal to "Female".

Method 2: Add a "text drop-down filter component", the filter field is "Gender", and the filter condition is when "Gender" equals to "Female".

Method 3: Convert the "Gender" indicator into a dimension, merge same items as a group, and drag the "Gender" into the result filter.

    2. Method 1: Use detail filtering

    Sample data: "FRDemo_Employe_copy"

    2.1 Perform detail filtering

Create a dashboard and enter the component editing area, select the "Employee ID" field, perform "Detail Filtering", set the filter condition to "Gender" equal to "Female", and click "OK", as shown in the following figure:
