1. Overview

1.1 Version

Detail table is used to display report detail data and make simple summary.

Finebi can display detailed data, as shown in the following figure:

1.3 Table features

• Can display the details of the data.

• Not suitable for displaying multi-dimensional data.

• Data summary is not supported.

1.4 Attentions

• The amount of data for making the detailed list shall not exceed 100 million.

• In 5.1.14 version detail table supports setting the number of page rows. Previous versions do not support this setting, and the system defaults to more than 100 rows for automatic pagination.

• In 5.1.14 version detail table supports setting whether to display the current rows and total rows. By default, the details takes 20000 rows of data, and all data less than 20000 rows is taken. The current rows and total rows are displayed by default. No matter how much data there is in previous versions, the details only displays 1000 rows by default. If you need to change, please refer to Section 3.1 of Detail tabel component style.

2. Example

2.1 New dashboard

2.1.1 Select data table

Log into FineBI, select a summary chart under "data preparation" → "packages", click "Create component", name the dashboard and set location, as shown in the figure below:

2.1.2 Select field

1) Select the chart type as "detail table", and then drag the fields on the left into the data column, as shown in the following figure:

Note: the table header field only displays the field name and numerical format, but does not display the grouping method, summary method, quick calculation and aggregation of the corresponding fields.

2）In the component preview area, it appears detail data you dragged in. If you want to add a detailed field, you can directly drag the field into the data column; If you don't want to display the added fields, just drag them away, as shown in the following figure:

2.2 Set the title

Select the text content under the title, set the title content and format. For more details, see the file "title setting", as shown in the following figure:

2.3 View and set the total amount of data

Sometimes you need to know how many records of detailed data there are. You can view them directly.

In the detail table, 20000 rows are displayed by default. Hover the mouse over the icon in the figure below to display the actual record number, as shown in the figure below:

Sometimes, in order to beautify the dashboard, you can uncheck "display rows" in "component style" → "format" if you do not want the detail table to display the number of data records, as shown in the following figure:

2.4 Set the number of paging lines

Sometimes users want to customize the number of pagination rows in the detail table, or click page turning to view data. You can directly enter the number of pagination rows you want to set in "component style" → "format" to adjust, and enter 100, as shown in the following figure:

Note: the number of paging lines is 100 lines per page by default, and 1-1000 lines per page is supported.

Note: there is no limit on the amount of data when exporting detail table. All data can be exported. Containing exporting excel from components and exporting dashboard.
