Under this function, you can mark cells with colors or graphics to make some important or abnormal tables stand out.

1.3 Function introduction

Table properties contain two setting columns:

• Color: you can set the background and text color of cells.

• Shape: graphically mark cells.

Dimension and indicator field properties are set separately:

• Dimension: only properties of corresponding fields can be set.

• Indicator: you can add conditions to any indicator and set the properties of the target field.

Use the database SALES_BASIC to create components, as shown in the following figure:

Create a grouping table, select the "chart type" as grouping table, and drag the fields into the "Dimension" bar and "Indicator" bar respectively. Under "Table Properties", you can choose to set the color or shape of the field, as shown in the following figure:

• Dimension field: Salesperson, Product types.

• Indicator field: Sales Volume, Counter.

2.1 Setting colors

2.1.1 setting the color of the whole column

Set colors for all fields of this dimension without adding conditions. The font color and background color can be set separately. Refer to the next section for adding condition settings.

For example, set the font color of "Salesperson" to blue, as shown in the following figure:

Note 1: the dimension fields in the table properties bar are synchronized with the dimension fields in the analysis area.  Custom drag in fields and modified fields are not supported.

The effect is as shown below:

2.1.2 Set the qualified data color

Select the "Product types" field under the table properties, and the font color of "no" in the setting field is red, as shown in the following figure:

2.2 Setting shape markers

Select the dimension field you want to set under table properties, and click the shape bar to add a shape tag to the field.

Example: add a flag to the "Digital Products" field in "Product types" (the color of the shape mark can be changed), as shown in the following figure:

3. Indicator field settings

Use the SALES_BASIC table to make a grouping table, drag the "Salesperson", "Product types" into the dimension column, and the "Sales Volume", "Counter" into the indicator column. As shown in the figure below:

• Dimension field: Salesperson, Product types.

• Indicator field: Sales Volume, Counter.

Note: if there is a blank value in the indicator field, the cell setting where the blank value is located will not take effect. Set properties for all indicators, and the effect will be applied to all indicators.

3.1 Setting colors

Note: App and HTML5 with version v10.4.90 and later, adapt to the background color of the display cell.

The following two methods of color setting are described:

• Do not drag fields into the color bar: set the color of the whole column.

• Drag color bar into field: set the color of qualified cells.

3.1.1 Set the color of whole column

Set the font color and background color of the entire column for the field. Same as section 2.1.1.

3.1.2 Set the qualified data's color

For qualified data, set the corresponding field color. For example, set the color of "purchase quantity":

• Add "Sales Volume" field to set conditions

Drag the field "Sales Volume" into the color column of "Sales Volume", and set the background color of cells with purchase quantity less than 100 to red and the font to white, as shown in the following figure:

• Add other indicator fields and set conditions

Drag the "Counter" field into the "Counter" color column, and set the conditions. If the amount is less than 5, white text on a red background will be displayed, as shown in the following figure:

3.2 Setting shape marks

For the same color setting, there are two methods for shape setting:

• Not drag in the field: mark the shape of the whole column;

• Drag in the field: set different shape marks for cells with different conditions.

3.2.1 Setting the whole column shape

Add a shape tag to the full column of the field.

Directly click the shape column under the contract amount to mark all the "Counter" amount with yellow dots, as shown in the following figure:

3.2.2 Setting qualified data shapes

Add a shape tag for the data that meets the criteria in this field. For example, set the shape for "Sales Volume":

• Add "Sales Volume" and set the shape.

Drag the "Sales Volume" field into the shape bar to set different shapes and colors of interval markers. If the contract amount is less than1000, it is a red down arrow, and the rest are green, as shown in the figure below:

• Add additional metric settings shapes

The "Contract Amount" set to "Purchase Quantity" exceeding 500 is marked with a crown, as shown in the following figure:

4.  Other instructions

4.1 Setting description

1) "All" properties can be set for multiple indicators.

Table properties can be set for one single indicator field separately or all indicator fields at the same time, as shown in the following figure:

The effect of setting all indicators is applied to all indicator data.

2) Table properties field drop-down settings.

The fields added in the table properties are consistent with the indicator fields in the field settings of the analysis area. You can perform summary mode, quick calculation, filter and other operations. As shown in the figure below:

Note: the drop-down function of the field under the table properties has no impact on the chart, and is only effective for the indicators of the current table properties.

3) Data drilling supports setting each dimension field under the drilling directory separately. As shown in the figure below:
