Chapter 2, in the "Encryption Method" of the sender's account, it is recommended that the user select the TLS protocol
FineBI supports the receiving and sending of emails. Email account information is required for both receiving and sending emails.
Click "Manage > System > Mailbox" to set the sender account and query historical emails, as shown in the following figure:
The description of each setting item of "Email" is shown in the following table:

Ports and Encryption
The port and encryption method of the mail service are not set by default. If you need to set it, please click the "Port and Encryption" button to automatically expand.
When setting the mail server, if the server port does not support the default port 25, or the SMTP server does not support SSL encryption (such as Sina mailbox), then you can modify the port number and set the encryption method
There are three encryption methods: SSL encryption, TLS encryption, and no encryption
Note 1: It is recommended that users use the more secure TLS protocol.
Note 2: If the encryption method is set here, please make sure that the encrypted certificate has been added to the trusted list of Java certificates, otherwise the client cannot read the encrypted response.

Users can query the historical email information sent by the system according to the recipient, template name, email sending date and other conditions
The content of the test email is shown in the figure below, which means that the mail server has been successfully configured, as shown in the figure below:
Note: "Mail Body" is displayed in HTML format, some fonts not supported will be displayed in SimSun font
The specific characteristics of unsupported fonts are: the font name contains spaces, "-" and other special symbols, such as "Windding 3".
If the POP3/SMTP service is enabled, you can use the client to send and receive emails. If it is not enabled, the mailbox configuration may fail.
The sender account is currently configured. If the QQ personal mailbox and the 163 mailbox need to be verified by the authorization code.
Log in to QQ mailbox, click "Settings>Account", find "Third-party Services>IMAP/SMTP", as shown below:
Click "Enable Service" to prompt "Verify Password", follow the prompts to send a text message, and the verification is successful. As shown below:
After the verification is completed, go to the column of "Decision-making System > Email > Password" needs to fill in the "authorization code" instead of the email password. As shown below:
Log in to the 163 mailbox, click "Settings > POP3/SMTP/IMAP", and enable "POP3/SMTP Service", as shown in the following figure:
Click "Enable" to prompt "Account Security Verification", follow the prompts to send a text message, click "I have sent", and the verification is successful. As shown below:
After the verification is completed, it will prompt "Successfully opened POP3/SMTP service", and the column of "Decision-making System > Email > Password" needs to fill in the "authorization code" instead of the email password. As shown below:
Note: This authorization code is only displayed once, please keep it in mind in case you need it in the future.
Open QQ Enterprise Mailbox, click "Settings > Client Settings", and find "Settings > Outgoing Server". As shown below:
From this, we know that the mailbox uses SSL as the encryption method, and the port number is 465.
Click "WeChatLink" to bind WeChat. As shown below:
After successfully binding WeChat, you need to "enable secure login". As shown below:
After opening, you must log in to the mailbox again, and you cannot log in with the original password. For the web version, please use WeChat to scan the code, and for the client, please use the "client-specific password" to log in.
After that, click Settings > WeChat Binding , first bind WeChat. After enabling secure login, click Client-specific password > Generate new password , as shown in the following figure:
The administrator logs in to the data decision system and clicks "Management System > System Management > Mailbox".
Click on Ports and Encryption. Input port: 465. Encryption method selection: SSL encryption. The password is the client password obtained above. As shown below:
Send a test email and send it successfully. The setting is now complete.
1) The user logs in to the Outlook mailbox, clicks "Settings > Mail > Synchronize Email", and enables the POP service, as shown in the following figure:

Record the server name, port, encryption method, etc. in the SMTP settings.
To use mailboxes, you need to ensure connectivity between the BI project and the mailbox server.
1) When using the mailbox server of the external network, such as QQ mailbox, 163 mailbox, etc., it is necessary to ensure that the project can access the external network normally.
2) If you use your own intranet mailbox server, you don't need to connect to the extranet, just ensure the connection between the BI project and the mailbox server.
Problem Description:
On the intranet server, it is no problem to use foxmail to send SSL encrypted mail, but there is a problem to use finereport. Changed to unencrypted port 25 can be sent out.
The error "Could not connect to SMTP host: SMTP.fanruan.cn, port: 465, response: -1" is reported.
Cause Analysis:
The mailbox server built by the user on the intranet needs to be added to the java certificate trust list. For certificates that are not added to the java trusted list, emails cannot be sent. Some other clients such as firefox have their own certificate trust system and can send normally.
solution:
Import the certificate into the java certificate trusted list.
Log error: com.sun.mail.smtp.SMTPSendFailedException: 554 DT: SPM 163
Reason analysis: This error is the anti-spam mechanism of the 163 mailbox server, which treats the test email with the title test as spam, resulting in failure to send.
Solution: Don't write words such as test and test in the test email. It can be sent successfully, indicating that there is no problem with the configuration itself, but the server itself is limited.
If you frequently send emails within one minute, the error "Error getting verification code" will be reported.You can continue sending after a minute.
