Monthly repurchase rate analysis

  • Recent Updates: April 26, 2022
  • 1. Overview

    1.1 Expected effect

Repurchase rate within the month =The number of people who purchased twice or more in a month/The total number of purchases in the month.

For example, if 100 users purchase a product within a month and 20 of them purchase more than twice, then the monthly repurchase rate is 20%.

In the same way, the statistical cycle can be changed to calculate the quarterly repurchase rate and annual repurchase rate.

    1.2 Problems solved

The repurchase rate can help us observe user loyalty.

Increasing the repurchase rate can increase the frequency of user purchases. In addition to the continuous input of attracting new customers, the continued growth of business is particularly important for repurchase of existing users.

    2. Example

See section 1.1 of this article for details.

    3. Conclusion analysis

The overall repurchase rate is on the rise, indicating that the supermarket user stickiness is increasing, and marketing methods have achieved certain success during this period.

According to the time trend graph of the number of purchased users and the repurchase rate, the health of user stickiness can be seen by superimposing the repurchase rate with the total number of users. The best state is that the repurchase rate does not change with the number of users. Maintaining an upward trend. Because with the development of the company, the users who create long-term value for the company must be these old users.
