Sometimes the area name of user map data does not match with the built-in area name of the FineBI map, and the area name mismatch causes the data not to be displayed properly when the map is displayed in the front-end.

In order to solve the problem of mismatching map region names, version 5.1.11 has optimized the map fuzzy matching rules.

For example, if the built-in region name of the map is "Anhui Province", but the region name of the user data is "Anhui", after the map fuzzy matching, the front-end display will match Anhui with Anhui Province, as shown in the figure below.

The front-end display effect is shown in the following figure.

1.3 Matching rules

• The region abbreviation can be matched with the built-in region name, for example Anhui - Anhui Province.

• The abbreviated region name can be matched with the built-in region name, for example Jiangsu - Jiangsu Province, Nanjing - Nanjing City.

• The detailed area name can be matched with the built-in area name, e.g., Nanjing, Jiangsu Province - Nanjing City.

• Some region aliases can be matched with built-in region names, e.g. Gusu - Suzhou City.

• The same name area matching, for example, Nanjing and Kaifeng City have Gulou District, there is no way to fully match the correct results, for the time being, if you encounter the problem of a wrong match please also customize the match.

• Matching support follows the data update. After the data is updated, the geographic role matching pop-up window is opened and will be matched once again.

2. Custom Matching

Sometimes the region name inside your own data may not automatically match the built-in region name, as shown in the following figure.

At this point, you can simply do a manual match and select the desired built-in region name, as shown in the following figure.
