This article will describe how to assign permissions to users so that users can view the platform catalog in the data decision system.

3. Operation steps

1) Assign the "View" permission of "Directory Authorization" to the permission carrier.

2) Assign the "Use" permission of the "Data Permission" of the data table called by the directory to the permission carrier.

Example in this chapter: Assign the "View" permission to the "Manage Cockpit" directory to the user "eoco".

1. Set user classification

If the category of "design users" in "platform users" is "unlimited", you do not need to perform the operations in this section.

If the number of "Data Processing Users"/"Data Analysis Users" in "Platform Users" is limited, you must perform the operations in this section, otherwise the dashboard cannot be created.

Log in to the data decision-making system with Super Manager, click "Manage> User", select the platform user, and add the user eoco to "BI View User", as shown in the following figure:

Note: If you do not set user categories, when viewing the dashboard, you will be prompted "Sorry, you cannot view this page. You do not have access rights to this page, please contact the administrator if you need access." As shown below:

2. Assign directory permissions

The administrator logs in to the data decision system, clicks "Manage > Permission > General permission configuration > Quick configuration of authority", and switches the current viewing dimension to "User Group dimension". In this example, select the user eoco and assign it the directory view permission of "Manage Cockpit", as shown in the following figure:

3. Assign data rights

Since the directory assigned in Section 2.1 needs to use some data, the administrator also needs to assign data permissions.

The administrator logs in to the data decision system, clicks "Manage > Permission > General permission configuration > Quick configuration of authority", and switches the current viewing dimension to "User Group dimension".

In this example, select the user eoco and assign it the data usage authority of "Industry Data", as shown in the following figure:

Note: If you do not assign data permissions, an error will be displayed after viewing: " You are currently not authorized to view the component data, An error has occurred, please contact the administrator ". As shown below:

4. Effect display

The user eoco (password is 1) logs in to the data decision system to view the "Management Cockpit" directory and the templates under the directory. As shown below:
