Administrators often encounter "forgot password" and need to "change password" scenarios.

This chapter is applicable to the situation where you do not remember the original password and need to reset the password.

To supervise, you need to modify the "SystemConfig.serverInit" parameter in the  FINE_CONF_ENTITY  table in  FineDB , and change the field value to fail .

After modification, restart the BI project, and the configuration will take effect.

Note: This operation is dangerous, please contact technical support for assistance, do not modify it without authorization, it will cause irreversible consequences!

This section applies to the situation where you remember the original password and need to change the password.

The user logs in to the data decision manage system, clicks the name in the upper right corner, and clicks "Account Setting", as shown in the following figure:

Follow the prompts to change the password, click "OK", click "Complete", the password is changed successfully.

JAR packages in 5.1.12 and later BI projects have improved the security of the "change password interface".

When you change the password by yourself, you generally need to enter the old password as the verification of the updated password.

1) Enter the correct old password within 5 times. If you enter the wrong password, an error will be reported: The old password is wrong, it will be locked after 4 times of input.

2) If the wrong old password is still entered after 5 times of use, prompt: Too many password errors, please try again in 15 minutes.

After the super tube is locked, you can only wait 15 minutes and try again, or refer to Chapter 2 of this article to reset the password and log in with the new password.
