Prompt in chart big data mode

1. Overview

1.1 Version

1.2 Application scenarios

There is too much user chart data, and when the big data mode is triggered, the corresponding visual or interactive effects will be limited. However, because there is no relevant prompt, the user does not know what caused this phenomenon.

1.3 Function introduction

In 5.1.13 and later versions, when the chart triggers the big data mode, there will be a prompt on the edit page. The prompt content is:

• Prompt title: The big data editing mode has been entered.

• Prompt details: The amount of data is too large. It is recommended to reduce the amount of data in the original table or reduce the number of dimension fields to be dragged in. In big data mode, some interactive visual effects are not supported.

2. Description of Big Data Mode Scenarios

If more than 5000 packet data is one of the following 4 scenarios, the big data prompt will be automatically triggered.

2.1 Scenario 1

The horizontal and vertical axis includes one or more dimension index fields, and the dimension index fields are on different horizontal and vertical axes. Contains graphics: column chart, line chart, point, area chart. As shown below:

Note: At most 2 horizontal and vertical axis dimension fields are required, and at most 4 chart attribute fields under a single indicator.

2.2 Scenario 2

The horizontal and vertical axis includes one or more dimension index fields, and the dimension index fields are on different horizontal and vertical axes, and other dimensions or index fields are in positions other than the horizontal and vertical axis. Contains graphics: column chart, line chart, point, area chart. As shown below:

Note: At most 2 horizontal and vertical axis dimension fields are required, and at most 4 chart attribute fields under a single indicator.

2.3 Scenario 3

There are one or more indicator fields on the horizontal axis and the vertical axis, and other dimensions or indicator fields are located on non-horizontal and vertical axis positions, including graphics: points. As shown below:

Note: It is required that there are at most 4 chart attribute fields under a single indicator.

2.4 Scenario 4

The horizontal axis and the vertical axis respectively have one or more dimension fields, including graphics: points. As shown below:

Note: A maximum of 2 horizontal and vertical or vertical axis dimension fields are required, and a maximum of 4 chart attribute fields under a single indicator.

3. Front-end vision and interaction restrictions

According to the content judged by big data, in order to ensure the normal display of big data chart data, the front-end visual and interactive effects will be restricted and simplified.

The following are some examples of scenarios that are affected:

1) Flow direction map: The gradient color of the line is not supported, and the color of a certain point is used to fill it.

2) Paging drawing in big data mode will have page butt joints, and the real and virtual drawing of the broken line of the line chart will not be aligned. As shown below:

3) In the big data mode page drawing, there will be page butt joints. If the path fitted by the curve exceeds the current page, it will be truncated. As shown below:

4) When grouped data> 3k: the data label and graphic marker point of the flow map are not displayed; the data label of the area map is not displayed.

5) The cordon is not supported.

6) Axis label display range optimization is not supported. When the performance is in the big data mode, the axis label rotation will be truncated by the axis.

7) Interaction between coordinate axes and axes.

8) Legend interaction.

9) Zoom the browser, the components cannot be adjusted adaptively.

10) Flash animation effects and picture filling are not supported.

11) When the mouse is hovering the graphics, the graphics cannot be displayed on the top layer.
