1.2 Application scenarios

For example: View the detailed information of "Beijing" customers through the text filter component. Similar to the need for filtering text fields, it can be easily achieved by using text filtering components.

1.3 Function introduction

FineBI's text filtering components include two types: text drop-down filtering components and text list filtering components.

The example uses the Demo dashboard "group table" to filter out the data of "Shandong Province" and "Anhui Province". The position of the dashboard is under Function Demonstration> Table Analysis under the dashboard node, as shown in the following figure:

2.1 Add a text filter component

Text filtering components include "text drop-down" and "text list".

Enter the editing interface of the "Group Table" of the dashboard, select Filter Component> Text Drop-down, and drag the "Text Drop-down" component into the dashboard editing interface, as shown in the following figure:

2.2 Edit filter components

After the filter component is dragged into the dashboard, it will automatically enter the filter component editing interface.

Bind the "Province" field, select multiple selections, and click OK to save, as shown in the figure below:

• Multiple selection: multiple field values can be selected in the filter component to filter.

• Single selection: Only one field value can be selected in the filter component to filter.

Click on the drop-down and select "Anhui" and "Shandong", as shown in the figure below:

The "Group Table" component only displays the data of "Anhui Province" and "Shandong Province", as shown in the figure below:
