Group summary to achieve de-duplication

1. Overview

1.1 Expected effect

The merchant wants to make a list of all users who consume, but in the original data, each user may have consumed multiple times, and there are multiple pieces of data. We only need to keep one. In this situation, we can use "Group Summary" to realize the de-duplication.

1.2 Implementation ideas

Group Summary has its basic function: summarizing data after grouping. In addition, users can also use it to complete simple de-duplication.

2. Operation steps

2.1 Upload data

1) Download sample data: 122.Orders data.xls

2) Upload the sample data to FineBI, as shown in the figure below:

2.2 Use Group Summary to remove duplicates

1) Create a self-service dataset "User list", check all fields of "Orders data", as shown in the figure below:

2) Add a Group Summary, and drag the required customer information into the "Grouping column", as shown in the figure below:

3) Save and Update the self-service dataset.

After these operations, only a piece of information of the same user is kept, so that a customer list can be obtained.
