When using components to filter data, FineBI defaults to query directly after data selection.
However, when there are multiple filtering components in the dashboard, and the amount of data used is relatively large, and the query requires a lot of performance and time, it will be very inconvenient to perform a query automatically every time a filtering component is set. FineBI provides "query" and "reset" to solve this problem.
For example, as shown in the figure below, there are three filter components in the dashboard. After adding the "query" and "reset" buttons, the user can query after all three filter components are set.
You can only add at most one "query" and "reset" buttons in a dashboard.
Note: The "Query" button is only effective in the preview interface.
1) Click on "Filter Component" and drag the "Query Button" and "Reset Button" into the dashboard respectively, as shown in the figure below:
Click the "Query" button, and you can see that the system has checked "Automatically query when previewing" by default.
Check "Automatically query when previewing": The default filter criteria will automatically trigger the query when previewing, and there is no need to click the "Query" button.
Do not check "Automatically query when previewing": The default filter criteria when previewing do not automatically trigger the query, you need to click the "Query" button.
Set filter conditions for the three filter components and click "Query" to get the final filter results. Click "Reset" again to clear all the previously set conditions, as shown below:
