1. Overview

Grammar	AVG_AGG(array)	According to the current analysis dimension, the summary average value of the indicator field is returned, and the generated result is a data column with the number of rows consistent with the current analysis dimension.
Parameter	array	It must be the result returned by a non-aggregate function formula, which can be a calculation result of an indicator field, dimension, or indicator field and a common formula.

2. Matters needing attention

The real-time data supports the use of a single numeric type parameter.

3. Example

When the user's horizontal axis is the dimension field "Day", the value returned by the calculated field AVG_AGG (Sales) on the vertical axis is the average daily sales;

When the user's horizontal axis is the dimension field "Month", the value returned by AVG_AGG(Sales) is the average monthly sales.

For example, using the built-in dataset "Contract fact sheet" to calculate the annual average contract amount, there are two calculation methods.

3.1 Method 1: Use AVG_AGG function

Create the calculation indicator "Average contract amount" and enter the formula: AVG_AGG (Contract amount). And drag it into the analysis bar, as shown in the figure below:

3.2 Method 2: Use summary mode to average

Drag "Contract amount" into the indicator column, and click "Dropdown>Summary mode>Average", as shown in the figure below:
