Component dimension switching

1. Overview

1.1 Application scenario

When making a dashboard, after setting the component drilling directory, you want to display the lower level content of the drill directory and the calculation data results of the lower level.

1.2 Function introduction

The component dimension switching function is used for the rotation analysis of charts / tables. The dimension can be switched through the "dimension switching" setting window to realize the switching of the current component analysis dimension, as shown in the following figure:

Note: except for schedule, chart components all support dimension switching.

2. Operation steps

For example, the user has created data tables of  "contract amount" and "purchase quantity" in different "contract type" and "signing time", hoping to dynamically switch dimensions, which can display contract data in both "contract type" and "signing time"

2.1 create drilling directory and make components

The component configuration of "dimension switching" is the same as data drilling. You need to create a drill directory and add the dimension fields to be switched to the created drilling directory. For detailed creation steps, see the file: "creating a drill directory".

Enter the component editing interface, create a drilling directory, select the "chart type"  as "group table", and drag the "signing time, Type" drill directory into "Dimensions", the "contract amount" and the "purchase quantity" fields into the "indicator", as shown in the following figure:

2.2 Dimension Switching

Click "Enter the dashboard" in the upper right corner to enter the dashboard editing interface. Click the component and select the button in the upper right corner to select other dimensions under the newly created drill directory.

In the dashboard preview interface, you can also click "Quick setup" to switch dimensions, as shown in the following figure:

Click and select "Type" to see that the "signing time" field in the chart is switched to "Type", as shown in the following figure:
