Automatically Generate Reviews Based On Filtered Content

1. Expected effect

Automatically generate comments on the data results you care about most, which is more intuitive. As shown below:

Select the northern region, and a review is automatically generated, showing the top-selling store in the northern region and its sales.

In this way, the average value, maximum value, minimum value, proportion, etc. of a certain period of time or within a certain range can also be displayed.

2. Implementation ideas

Implemented through "custom chart", the graphic display form needs to select "text".

This example uses the FineBI demo data "Store Sales Statistics"

1. Create a comment component

1) Use "Store Sales Statistics" to create a component, as shown in the following figure:

2) Select the chart type as "Custom Chart" and the graphic display form as "text". As shown below:

3) Drag the "Store name, sales volume" field into the text field, as shown below:

All stores and corresponding sales are thus displayed. But we just want to know the biggest sales and store names.

4) Filter the "Sales" field and filter out the largest one . As shown below:

5) Add descriptive text

After filtering, only the largest sales and their corresponding store names are left. Edit the text as shown in the image below:

Enter descriptive text and adjust the font color for Store Name and Sales to red. As shown below:

2. Create filter components

We can filter the region through the filter component. When selecting a different region, the comment component automatically generates the first-selling store in that region and its sales.

1) Click "Enter Dashboard" to add a text drop-down filter component, as shown in the following figure:

2) Drag the "Region" field in the comment component in Section 2.1 into the filter component, and bind this field to associate the filter component with the comment component, as shown in the following figure:

3. New form

In this example, the table is only used as an auxiliary component to verify whether the comment is correct, it doesn't matter if it is there or not.

Add a new component, and the table settings are shown in the following figure:

4. Effect display

Hide the title of the comment component and select the area, the effect is as shown below:
