Configuring FTP services on Windows systems

• If you wish to upload the generated attachments to another server's FTP after the scheduled task has been completed, you will need to prepare a configured FTP server in advance.

• Configuring the cluster on If you choose file server sharing, you will need to prepare a configured FTP server in advance if FTP is selected for the protocol.

1.3 Function Introduction

FTP is short for File Transfer Protocol, and the Chinese acronym is "文传协议", which is used to control the two-way transfer of files over the Internet.

The configuration process described in this article is based on a Windows Server 2012 Standard server, but if you are using other versions of Windows Server operating systems, the configuration process is similar.

2.1 Configuring the FTP server

1）Click on 「Turn Windows feature on or off」 from the program features

2）Click on the required files for Ftp and IIS, as shown below

2.2 Adding an FTP site

1）From the Tools menu bar of the Server Manager, open the 「IIS Manager」

2）2) Select the website option and right click on Add FTP site

3）Fill in the FTP site name and physical path, the physical path is the directory where the FTP upload and download files are saved (can be created on any disk, name is custom)

4）Binding and SSL settings: check the box to start the FTP site automatically and select 「No SSL」

5）Follow the diagram below and select Authentication and Authorisation, Permissions

2.3 Create new user and test ftp

1）Open Computer Management, in Local Users and Groups - Users, right click on New User

2）Configure user names and passwords for new users, it is recommended to check the box 「Password never expires」

3）Creation completed.

4） Copy the WEB-INF folder from the project and paste it into the physical path set

5）Visit ftp://ip in the address bar of your browser, this step requires a username and password to log in to FTP

At this point, we have successfully set up a file server on Windows Server.

1） The Windows Server encoding defaults to GBK and the corresponding encoding should be selected at the time of the platform profile server.

2） For the platform profile server, the ftp path is /WEB-INF

Note 1: For FTP services deployed according to the documentation, fill in the absolute path for Linux systems, e.g. /home/ftpuser/WEB-INF if the user name is ftpuser, and fill in the relative path /WEB-INF for Windows systems.

1) Error when accessing ftp://ip

When accessing ftp://ip with the error: 200 Switching to ASCII mode.227 Entering Passive Mode (0,0,0,0,227,175), open 「Network and Sharing Center>Internet Options>Advanced」 and remove the option Use Passive FTP (for firewall and DSL modem compatibility) option.
