Mini Chart

1. Overview

1.1 Application scenarios

The mini chart can visually and clearly show the corresponding indicator value size of each category, such as the pageview size of each access channel shown in the figure below. As shown below:

1.2 Basic requirements

The basic requirements of mini chart:

1.3 Chart features

Advantages: Simple and easy to implement. It is used to highlight the characteristics of variable data.

Disadvantages: The change of it is relatively single and it is only suitable for displaying single variables.

2. Example

2.1 Create components

1) Click "Dashboard" tab, select New Dashboard. Click "OK". ClickAs shown below:

2) Click "Add componet", select "FRDemo_Sales_Volume" under the "FRDemo" package, click "OK". As shown below:

3) Drag the field "Product" under the dimension of the area to be analyzed into the horizontal axis, and drag the field "Sales_Volume" under the indicator into the vertical axis:

4) Select the Mini Chart in the chart type and then it can be created successfully. As shown below:

After selecting this chart type, the shape under the Graphic Properties is switched to "point", the indicator field will be switched to the size column under the Graphic Properties, the dimension field will be switched to the vertical axis, and the point will be automatically selected in the Graphic Properties as shown in the following figure:

2.2 Graphical property settings

2.2.1 Color

Click "color" and then You can set the colors of different similar data points.

2.2.2 Size

Click "size",You can adjust the radius of data points. As shown below:

At the same time, you can set tag, prompt, fine-grained, etc. For details, please refer to: Graphical Properties.

2.2.3 Shape

Click "shape" to select different shapes for the data points. As shown below:

2.3 Component style settings

Set the axis. Select the component style, click "axis", and select "line" as dashed line. As shown below:
