Multi-series column chart

1.1 Application scenarios

Multi-series column chart are used to show the comparative effects between different series of indicators. Effect as shown below:

The basic requirements of multi-series column chart:

1.3 Chart features

Advantage: Clearly see the size of different indicators in each dimension, and compare the data volume gaps of different dimension categories through different columns.

Disadvantage: Only applicable to data with few dimensions, not applicable to scenarios with too many dimensions.

2. Example

2.1 Create component

1) Click "Dashboard", select "New Dashboard", and click OK, as shown in the figure below:

2) Click "Add Component", select "ORDERS" under "Package", and click OK, as shown in the figure below:

3) Select the multi-series column chart, drag the field "SIGNDATE" under the dimension of the area to be analyzed into the horizontal axis, and drag the fields "AMOUNT" and "PAID" under the indicator into the vertical axis, as shown in the figure below:

You can see that the "TargetName" in the above figure automatically goes to the color bar, and the two indicators display two colors in the preview box.

Note: The multi-series column chart must have 1 dimension or more and 2 indicator fields or more in the horizontal and vertical axis to be selected, otherwise the multi-series column chart under the chart type will be grayed out and cannot be clicked.

4) Drag the "SHIPMETHOD" field into the size column of the graph property, and select the grouping of the SIGNDATE as "Year Month", as shown in the following figure:

2.2 Graghic properties settings

2.2.1 Color

After selecting the chart type, it will automatically switch to a column chart under the graphic properties, click the color to set the column display color, as shown in the figure below:

2.2.2 Size

Click the size to adjust the column width and rounded corner of the column, as shown in the figure below:

2.3 Field drop-down settings

2.3.1 Dimension field settings

Set the category axis (horizontal axis).

Click the drop-down box of the SIGNDATE (Year Month) field, select "Set the Category Axis", set the font style to "custom" under "Display axis tag", set the font to 14, and click OK, as shown in the following figure:

Dimension field settings can perform operations such as chart sorting, chart grouping, chart filtering, and chart axis setting .

2.3.2 Indicator field settings

Click the drop-down under the AMOUNT (Sum) field, select "numeric format", and you can set the value display, as shown in the following figure:

At the same time, you can set the chart summary method, the chart quick calculation, the chart numeric format, the chart special display, and the chart analysis line setting.
