General area chart

Area chart can be used to display continuous data, which can well represent trends, accumulation, reduction, and changes. For example, the following figure shows the change of "Contract amount" with time. As shown below:

2. Operation steps

2.1 Create a dashboard

Click "New Dashboard" on the "Dashboard" Tab, enter the name and location of the dashboard, and click "OK" to enter the dashboard editing interface, as shown in the figure below:

2.2 Add component

Enter the dashboard editing interface and click "Add component", as shown in the figure below:

2.3 Add data

Use "Contract fact sheet" as shown in the figure below:

2.4 Select graph

After selecting "Custom Chart", set the Graphic Properties to "Area", and drag the field into the horizontal and vertical axis. After making the area chart, it is found that the data is displayed by year, month, and day. As shown below:

If you want to see the change of "Contract amount" with "Year", the operation is as shown in the figure below:

You can see the effect of the created area chart in the chart preview. As shown below:

2.5 Component beautification

Area charts support the settings of color, tag, prompt, fine-grained, component style, etc. For details, please refer to the graphic properties and chart component style.

2.5.1 Set component style

For example, cancel the display of "Legend" and "Horizontal network grid" in the style in component style. As shown below:

2.5.2 Set Graphic Properties

Remove the field in "color", set the color to "Blue", turn on the gradient "effect", and drag in "Contract amount" as a tag. As shown below:

3. Effect preview

3.1 PC terminal

Enter the component editing interface to view the effect. See section 1 of this article for details. 

3.2 Mobile

The effect of H5 and APP on the mobile terminal is shown in the following figure:

4. Dashboard View

5. Multiple dimensions/indicator scenarios

The chart supports the display of fields on the horizontal and vertical axes, you can just click the field button to exchange the horizontal and vertical axes at the horizontal and vertical axes.

The horizontal and vertical axis also supports draging in multiple fields for multi dimension and multi indicator display, such as viewing the changes in pageviews of different platforms according to the access platform.
