Special display of chart

1. Overview

1.1 Application scenario

Chart special display can highlight part of the chart to show the focus. For example, the highest bar of the bar chart is highlighted to display. As shown in the figure below.

1.2 Function introduction

"Special display" is supported in the indicator field of the analysis area/graph property.

Among them, "Image Fill" only supports bar chart. "Flashing Animation" does not support heatmaps, heatmaps, and gauges.

2. Comment

"Comment" supports all chart types and allows the user to annotate some special points.

2.1 Set Comment

Comment the year with the most "Contract Total Amount".

1) Select "Dropdown > Special Display > Comment" for "Contract Total Amount", as shown below.

2）Enter the Comment settings page, add the condition of "Contract Total Amount is the largest one" and add the Comment text as shown below.

2.2 Effect view

Blink animation implements blinking display on charts, most often used in bar charts, line charts, point charts, and maps.

Note: Dashboards, heat maps, and heat maps do not support blink animation effects.

3.1 Operation steps

For the indicator field "Contract Total Amount", select "Drop Down > Special Display > Blink Animation", users can customize the added conditions and set the blink time as shown below.

If the user does not add a condition, it takes effect for the whole indicator.

3.2 Effect view

• Bar chart

The blink animation for the "Contract Total Amount" maximum setting is shown below.

• Line chart

Set the flashing animation for the entire indicator "Contract Total Amount", as shown below.

4. Image fill

"Image fill" only supports bar charts.

4.1 Operation steps

Similarly for the indicator field select "Dropdown > Special display > Image fill", add the condition, and then upload the image as shown below.

There are three types of padding: stacked, adapted, and centered

• Stacking: according to the width of the column, keeping the original proportion unchanged, multiple images are stacked

• Adaptation: The picture is adapted according to the height of the column and only one picture is filled

• Centering: Keeping the original image scale unchanged, the image is displayed in the middle of the column

4.2 Effect view
