Quick start for permission assignment

    1.2 Application sceearios

    After the administrator prepares the data in the Quick Start for Data Preparation, the data authority can be assigned to the corresponding personnel for management and use.


    1.3 Function introduction

    Permission allocation mainly includes catalog permissions, business package permissions, hierarchical permissions, management system permissions, and personnel permissions.

    2. Example-Sales Analysis Authority Assignment

    The "Gross Margin Analysis" created in the Quick Start for Data Preparation contains the data of the sales department. Therefore, it is necessary to delegate the authority for the sales department-the sales director, so that the sales director can control the authority of the business package; the sales director himself decides. Whether to assign authority to the subordinate ordinary sales staff, and how to assign it.

    The main steps: 1) the administrator authorizes the sales director; 2) the sales director assigns authority.

    2.1 The administrator authorizes the sales supervisor

    2.1.1 Enable hierarchical authorization

    1) The administrator logs in to FineBI, enters the Manage > Permission, and clicks the global settings button, as shown in the figure below:

    2) Enter the global setting page, open the hierarchical authorization button, and click save, as shown in the figure below:

    There are two more personnel management and manage in the authority configuration, as shown in the following figure:

    Select the "Sales Executive" under the department to unlock the authorization authority of the "Gross Profit Analysis" business package. As shown below:

    Give the sales supervisor the authorization authority for the personnel of the "Sales Department", as shown in the following figure:

    At this moment, we are using the authority management function under the "Manage" node, and ordinary users except administrators do not have the "Manage" node by default. Therefore, it is necessary to enable the viewing authority of "Permission" under the manage for the sales director. As shown below:

    At this point, the administrator has completed the authorization settings for the sales director, and the sales director can then assign data permissions to the sales staff below.


    2.2 Sales supervisor assigns authority

    The default password of all users in the system is 1. If the password has been changed, the following methods can be used to reset the password to log in.

    2.2.1 Log in to the sales supervisor account

    1) Go to Manage > User, search for Lisa, Sales Supervisor under All Users, and click the Edit button, as shown in the figure below:

    2) Generate a user password, copy the password, and click OK, as shown in the figure below:

    3) Log in to the Lisa account, as shown in the figure below:

    Note: Click to check "Keep logged in", otherwise you will need to log in again after a period of time.

    You can see that the Lisa account has the "Gross Profit Analysis" business package, and the management node has "Permission".

    Log in to the account of Lisa, the sales director, and the sales director can edit and manage the business package under the data preparation.

    2.2.2 Assign data usage rights to salespersons

    Click "Manage > Permission" to unlock the usage authority of the "Gross Profit Analysis" business package for the salesperson, as shown in the figure below:

    If only a certain "salesperson", such as "hanwen", needs to be assigned the right to use the "Gross Profit Analysis" business package, you can select hanwen under the "User List" category and unlock it, as shown in the following figure:

    2.3 Sales staff login to view

    Use the method in 2.2.1 to log in to the account of salesperson hanwen. Enter the data preparation, you can see that the "Gross Profit Analysis" business package has appeared under Hanwen.

    Since he only has permission to use, he cannot perform management operations such as deleting and editing the tables in the business package. He can only use it to create components for data analysis, as shown in the following figure:
