Alibaba Cloud AnalyticDB data connection

1.2 Function introduction

Alibaba Cloud Analytical Database is a real-time online analysis (OLAP) managed database service provided in the cloud that can process massive amounts of data. As a fast and flexible database service, the analytical database provides data analysis services from the cloud. It is compatible with the MySQL protocol, including metadata information.

This chapter will introduce how to connect Alibaba Cloud AnalyticDB data connection in FineBI.

2.1 Configuration information

2.2 Steps

1) The data connection uses the driver mysql-connector-java-5.1.44-bin.jar that comes with FineBI, and there is no need to download the driver package separately.

2) The administrator logs into the data decision system, selects "Manage>Data Connection>Data Connection Management", clicks "New Data Connection", and selects "Alibaba Cloud AnalyticDB" data connection under "All", as shown in the following figure:

Note: If a non-administrator user wants to configure a data connection, the administrator needs to assign the authority to "Data Connection" under "Manage". For specific operations, please see: Data Connection Control.

3) According to the configuration information provided above, enter the corresponding information of the database, and you can choose to fill in the advanced setting information (for related introduction, please refer to: Configure Data Connection), as shown in the following figure:

4) Click "Test Connection", if the test connection is successful, it means that the database is successfully connected, as shown in the following figure:

5) After the test connection is successful, click "Save" in the upper right corner, and the data connection is added successfully. As shown below:

1) select * from () limit x is not supported.

If the limit exceeds 10000, there will be an error exceeding the limit. The default maximum of the database is 10000, and this value can be changed by modifying the ADS database configuration.

2) When real-time data is enabled, the function of record number deduplication is not supported, because distinct count cannot be used with group by at the same time.

3) The top N is not supported.
