TeraData data connection

TeraData is a well-known MPP architecture database. It is organized as a Shared Nothing architecture system as a whole. It is positioned as a large data warehouse system with a high positioning. The software and hardware are all owned by NCR. Used for OLAP applications. In this chapter, we will introduce how to connect to the TeraData database in FineBI.

2.1 Configuration information

URL description:

Add the parameter TMODE=ANSI,CHARSET=UTF8 after the URL, which can solve the problems of garbled Chinese characters and unfiltered Chinese.

2.2 Connection steps

1) Download the driver

Download 2 driver packages of TeraData, and place the driver packages under %FineBI%\webapps\webroot\WEB-INF\lib, and restart FineBI.

2) New connection

Log in to the data decision system, select Manage>Data Connection>Data Connection Management, click "New Data Connection", and select "TeraData" under all options, as shown in the following figure:

Click OK to enter the data connection configuration page. According to the configuration information provided above, enter the corresponding information of the database, and you can choose to fill in the advanced setting information (for related introduction, please refer to the configuration data connection), as shown in the figure below:

3) Test the connection

Click "test connection" or "click to connect database" in the pattern, if the test connection is successful, it means that the database is successfully connected, as shown in the following figure:

4) Selection pattern

After the test connection is successful, you can select the pattern, and select the corresponding pattern according to your needs. If you do not select, the first pattern will be the default. As shown below:

After the pattern is selected, click the save button in the upper right corner, and the data connection is added successfully. As shown below:

The field name of the teradata table cannot be value, and the driver will report an error when executing sql select id, value from table, and mistake the keyword for it. (Add "" to execute sql)
