Users modify/forget password

Users often encounter scenarios where "forgot password" and "modify password" are required.

This article will provide different solutions for different users.

This chapter is suitable for situations where you remember the old password and need to change the password.

2.1 Modify by yourself

The user logs into the decision-making system, clicks on the name in the upper right corner, and clicks "Account Setting", as shown in the figure below:

Follow the prompts to change the password, click "OK", click "Complete", the password change is successful.

2.2 Reset the password of the super-management database

Open the database file corresponding to the server dataset of the synchronized user, find the account and password of the user, and modify the password.

Log in to the decision-making system by super administrator, click "Manage>User>All Users>Synchronize Users>Sync now", as shown in the figure below:

At this time, the user can use the new password to log in the decision-making system.

This chapter is suitable for situations where you do not remember the old password and need to reset the password.

3.1 Modify by yourself

After enabling the "Password Policy Settings", for users who forget their passwords, they can use SMS/email to assist in changing their passwords when logging in.

3.2 Reset password on super-management platform

The user can use the randomly generated password to log into the decision-making system. It is recommended that after logging in, click on your name in the upper right corner and click on "Account Setting", as shown in the figure below:

Follow the prompts to change the password, click "OK", click "Complete", the password change is successful.

3.3 Reset the password of the super-management database

This method is only applicable to "sync users".

Open the database file corresponding to the server dataset of the synchronized user, find the account and password of the user, and modify the password.

Log in the decision-making system by super administrator, click "Manage>User>All Users>Synchronize User>Sync now", as shown in the figure below:

At this time, the user can use the new password to log in the decision-making system.

The BI project of the JAR package in 5.1.12 and later improves the security of the "Modify Password Interface".

When you modify the password by yourself, generally you need to enter the old password as the verification of the updated password.

1) It is limited to input the correct old password within 5 times, and an error is reported when inputting the wrong password:

The old password is wrong, it will be locked after entering the wrong 4 times.

2) If the old password is still entered incorrectly after the 5th opportunity is used up, it prompts: There are too many incorrect passwords, please try again in 15 minutes or contact the administrator. Please refer to section 3.2 of this article to help users change their passwords. Users can log in with the new password.
