Sort display optimization
In the process of using the data tables for data analysis, if there are many business packages and data tables, it will be very troublesome to find them. FineBI provides a grouping function for business packages. By adding different groups, the business packages can be classified and stored for easy searching.
Note: You need to have the management authority of the corresponding group node to add a group.
Log in to the platform, enter "Data Preparation" and corresponding data type, select one data group, click"+", select "Grouping", when will create a new group under the group selected, as shown in the following figure:
Note: If the super administrator needs to create a first-level group, directly click "Add a group" under the "data list", as shown in the following figure:
My self-service dataset is a special grouping.
Enter "Data Preparation" and the corresponding data type, select "My Self-service Data set" group, click "+", select "grouping", you can create a new group under "My Self-service Dataset", as shown in the following figure:
Note: You need the management authority of the corresponding group to rename the group.
Hover the mouse on the newly added group, the operation button appears, click ..., and select "Rename" to rename the group, as shown in the figure below:
Enter a new name:
Note: The name cannot be the same as others of the same level in the same group; the group and business package can have the same name.
To delete a group, you must have the edit permission of all the content under the current group and the management permission of the current group, otherwise it cannot be deleted and a prompt appears, as shown below:
Hover the mouse over the newly added group, the operation button appears, click..., select to delete the existing group, if there is nothing under the group, just delete it directly without prompting;
If there is content under the group, click..., select to delete the existing group, as shown in the figure below:
It prompts that "All groups, service packages and tables in this group will not be retrieved, and the associated self-service dataset and template will also be affected.
Confirm to delete the group". After the three-second countdown, click "OK" to delete successfully. As shown below:
If you want to move a group created in an existing group to another, you can use the "move to" function.
The user needs to have the management authority of the move-in and move-out groups.
For example, if the user wants to move the "Demo2" group to the "Demo1" group, the user needs to have the management authority of both groups.
Hover the mouse on the group, click..., select the "Move to" button, as shown in the following figure:
The options will appear below, select the target group to be "Example", and click "OK", as shown in the following figure:
"Demo" will appear under "Example".
Note: The groups under "my self-service data set" can only be moved within the group, and cannot be moved to other positions in the data list.
Users can choose to "Sort by creation time" and "Sort by name" for groups and business packages, as shown in the following figure:
