HUAWEI CLOUD DWS data connection

HUAWEI CLOUD Data Warehouse Service (DWS) is an enterprise-level cloud-based data warehouse product launched by HUAWEI CLOUD. Its distributed parallel database kernel was built in 6 years. Reliability, high performance, low cost, safety, and ease of use. The official commercial use of DWS marks the full promotion of Huawei's distributed OLAP database technology to users, helping enterprise users to easily build data warehouses on the cloud and quickly realize data assets

Note: This data connection needs to be supported by the FineBI version after 2019.1.7.

2.1 Configuration information

2.2 Place the driver file

Download the "Huawei Cloud DWS driver package" from the download link above, and place the driver package under %FineBI%\webapps\webroot\WEB-INF\lib, and restart FineBI.

2.3 New data connection

The administrator logs in to the data decision system, clicks Manage>Data Connection>Data Connection Management, clicks New Data Connection, selects "Huawei Cloud DWS" under all options, and clicks OK, as shown in the following figure:

Note: If a non-administrator user wants to configure a data connection, the administrator needs to assign the authority to the data connection node under the management system. For specific operations, please see Data Connection Control.

2.4 Configure data connection

According to the configuration information provided above, enter the corresponding information of the database, and you can choose to fill in the advanced setting information (for related introduction, please refer to the configuration data connection), as shown in the following figure:

2.5 Test the connection

Click "test connection" or "click to connect database" in the pattern, if the test connection is successful, it means that the database is successfully connected, as shown in the following figure:

After the test connection is successful, you can select the pattern, and select the corresponding pattern according to your needs. If you do not select, the first pattern will be the default. As shown below:

2.6 Effect preview

After the pattern is selected, click the save button in the upper right corner, and the data connection is added successfully. As shown below:
