Determine whether the user can log in to the data decision system
View permissions
Viewing users can view the dashboard but cannot edit the dashboard.
Design permissions
Design permissions determine whether the user has the permissions of "Dashboard" and "Data Preparation".
If users are authorized to design permissions, ordinary users can see the dashboard and data preparation catalog on the home page, and after clicking, they can create dashboards, add tables of business packages, and add self-service datasets.
Note: Users with design permissions also have viewing permissions, and do not need to be assigned repeatedly.
If the user does not belong to the platform user, an error will be reported: Username is not available , as shown in the following figure:
Enter the management system, select User> Platform User > PC User , and click Edit User , as shown in the following figure:
Check Restrict users , select users from unselected users to selected users, and click Complete , as shown in the following figure:
Many users will find that the dashboard directory can be seen when the dashboard permissions are configured, but the entire dashboard reports an error: You do not have access rights to this page . In this case, you need to authorize the viewing permission for the user separately.
Click User > Platform User > PC User > BI User >BI View User , click Edit User , as shown in the following figure:
Check Restrict users , add users who need to be assigned viewing permissions, and click Complete , as shown in the following figure:

There is a distinction between data analysis users and data processing users. There is no difference between the two types of users in the production of dashboards, but the difference is the data preparation.
