Directory editing permissions

    2. Application scenarios

    The user wishes that the sub-administrator can edit the platform catalog in "Decision-making System > Manage > Directory". As shown below:

    This article will introduce you to two types of directory management:

    Example 1

    the "Edit" permission of the directory "Industry Applications" to the user eoco ,

    Enables eoco to mount its own templates in the "Industry Application" directory

    1) Open "Level Authorization" and "Directory Editing".

    2) Assign the "Edit" permission of "Directory Permission" to the permission carrier.

    3) Assign the "Use" authority of "Management System > Directory Management" to the authority carrier.

    Example 2

    the "Edit" permission of the directory "Industry Applications" to the user eoco ,

    Enables eoco to mount other people's templates in the "Industry Application" directory

    1) Open "Level Authorization" and "Directory Editing".

    2) Assign the "Edit" permission of "Directory Permission" to the permission carrier.

    3) Assign the "Use" authority of "Management System > Directory Management" to the authority carrier.

    4) Assign the “Management” permission of the dashboard creator’s department/role in “Personnel Management” to the permission carrier.

    5) The dashboard creator applies to hang out the BI dashboard.

    Ⅱ. Example 1: Mount your own template

    Example in this chapter: Assign the "Edit" permission of the directory "Industry Application" to the user eoco, so that eoco can mount the user's own BI dashboard, FR template under the system, report label, web page link, sub-folder in the "Industry Application" directory Table of contents.

    1. Enable hierarchical authorization

    The administrator logs in to the data decision system and clicks "Manage> Permission > Global Setting".

    Turn on "Hierarchical Authorization" and turn on "Edit Directory". As shown below:

    Note: The "Directory Edit" button can only be opened if the "Leveled Authorization" button is enabled.

    2. Assign directory editing permissions

    The administrator logs in to the data decision system, clicks "Manage > Permission > General permisssion configuration", and selects the rights carrier "Department/Role/User". In this example, the user eoco is selected.

    Select the "Directory" tab to configure the "Edit" permission of the "Manage Cockpit" directory for eoco, as shown in the following figure:

    3. Assigning access rights to the management system

    The administrator logs in to the data decision system, clicks "Manage > Permission > General permission configuration", and selects the rights carrier "Department/Role/User". In this example, the user eoco is selected.

    Select the "Manage" Tab to configure the "Use" permission of the "Directory" module for eoco, as shown in the following figure:

    4. Effect preview

    User eoco logs in to the data decision system, clicks "Manage > Directory", and selects the "Manage Cockpit" directory.

    1) The templates mounted in the "Manage Cockpit" directory can be deleted/modified, and the order of the content in the "Manage Cockpit" directory can be adjusted.

    2) The BI template can be mounted, and the optional scope is the dashboard created by eoco.

    3) All FR templates, reporting labels, web links, and subdirectories under the system can be mounted.

    Ⅲ. Example 2: Mount other people's dashboards

    Example in this chapter: Allocate the "Edit" permission of the "Industry Application" directory to the user eoco, so that eoco can mount other users' BI dashboards in the "Industry Applications" directory, and support to mount the user's own BI dashboards, BI dashboards under the system FR templates, escalation labels, web links, subdirectories.

    1. Enable hierarchical authorization

    The administrator logs in to the data decision system and clicks "Manage > Permission > Global Setting".Turn on "Hierarchical Authorization" and turn on "Edit Directory". As shown below:

    2. Assign directory editing permissions

    The administrator logs in to the data decision system, clicks "Manage > Permission > General permisssion configuration", and selects the rights carrier "Department/Role/User". In this example, the user eoco is selected.

    Select the "Directory" tab to configure the "Edit" permission of the "Manage Cockpit" directory for eoco, as shown in the following figure:

    3. Assign management system access rights

    The administrator logs in to the data decision system, clicks "Manage > Permission > General permission configuration", and selects the rights carrier "Department/Role/User". In this example, the user eoco is selected.

    Select the "Manage" Tab to configure the"Use" permission of the "Directory"module for eoco, as shown in the following figure:

    4. Assign personnel management authority

    The administrator logs in to the data decision system, clicks "Manage > Permission > General permission configuration > Quick configuration of authority", and selects the rights carrier "Department/Role/User". In this example, the user eoco is selected.

    Select the "Personnel Management" Tab to configure the "Manage" authority of the "Finance Dept." department for eoco, as shown in the following figure:

    5. Apply to hang out the dashboard

    jojo from the "Finance Dept." department logs in to the decision-making system, clicks "Dashboard", and hangs out the dashboard application made by herself, as shown in the following figure:

    Note: Others cannot mount a dashboard without applying for it to be hung out.

    The eoco of the "Finance Dept." logs in to the data decision system, clicks "Manage> Directory", and selects the "Manage Cockpit" directory.

    1) The templates mounted in the "Manage Cockpit" directory can be deleted/modified, and the order of the content in the "Manage Cockpit" directory can be adjusted.

    2) BI templates can be mounted, and the optional scope is the dashboard created by eoco and the dashboard requested by jojo from the  "Finance Dept."  department.

    3) All FR templates, reporting labels, web links, and subdirectories under the system can be mounted.
