Users sometimes need to delete data tables that have been added to the business package that they do not need to use.
For data tables that are no longer needed in the business package, FineBI provides the function of deleting data tables, which is convenient for users to manage data tables.
Note: The basic table being edited cannot be deleted.
1) Click "Data Preparation > Package", click "..." on the right side of the added data sheet, a drop-down box will pop up, and select "Delete", as shown in the figure below:
2) At this time, a prompt "This table will not be retrieved,and the associated self-service dataset and template will also be affected." If you confirm that the table is no longer used, click OK to delete successfully, as shown in the following figure:
Before deleting, please confirm whether the data table is no longer needed, and it cannot be restored after deletion. At the same time, you can view which templates and self-service datasets the current table is applied to on the "Blood Analysis" page, as shown in the following figure:
If the deleted data table is extracted data, an update of non-empty data after deleting the data table can release disk space.
The update of non-empty data can be: an update of a non-empty table, an update of a non-empty business package, a global update, etc.
