Dimension contrast line chart

1. Overview

1.1 Expected effect

When using a multi-series line chart, the user will drag in multiple indicators to compare different indicators.

What should I do when I only drag in one indicator field and need to compare the "Collection amount" of different years under the dimension field "Contract signing time"?

For example, compare the collection amount in 2016 and 2017, as shown in the figure below:

1.2 Implementation ideas

Drag the corresponding dimension into the color bar under the graphic properties, and filter according to your needs.

2. Operation steps

Use Demo data "KPI indicator items"

2.1 Create a new line chart

Drag the "Contract signing time" into the horizontal axis and select "month", drag the "Collection amount" into the vertical axis, and select the partitioned line chart, as shown in the following figure:

2.2 Filter the year

1) Drag the "Contract signing time" into the color granularity and select "Drop-down>Year". As shown below:

2) Choose "Drop-down>Filter". As shown below:

3) Enter the filter setting page, add condition, filter out the data for 2016 and 2017 and click "OK", as shown in the figure below:
