Upload Excel failed

1.1 Problem description

Add an Excel dataset, select a CSV file, then it prompt that the file uploaded failed. As shown below:

1.2 Cause analysis

The vulnerabilities of the CSV file lead to the risk of information leakage, so FineBI imposes certain restrictions on the upload of CSV files.

1.3 Solution

Go to Manage > Security, and turn off the button for "File Upload Verification", as shown in the figure below:

2.1 Problem description

In a cluster environment, an upload failure popup appears when importing a large amount of data Excel, as shown in the following figure:

2.2 Cause analysis

The size of the uploaded Excel exceeds the maximum limit.

2.3 Solution

Open the /usr/nginx/conf/nginx.conffile in the cluster environment, view and adjust the limit of the Excel file upload size, as shown in the following figure:

3.1 Problem description

The Excel upload failed in the cluster environment, and the upload of the image in the image component also failed.

3.2 Cause analysis

The configuration of the cluster is incorrect, which causes the file user and FTP user to be inconsistent.

3.3 Solution

When configuring the FTP service, you can see the FTP username. For details on how to configure the FTP service (including FTP username configuration), please refer to:

Linux installation and configure FTP, Windows configure FTP service.

Select "Manage > Cluster Configuration", and change the file username to be consistent with the FTP username, as shown in the following figure:

4.1 Problem description

The upload of the Excel file with the password set failed.

4.2 Cause analysis

The encrypted Excel cannot be uploaded to FineBI.

4.3 Solution

After the encrypted Excel file is unencrypted, the file can be uploaded to FineBI.
