1. Overview

1.1 Problem phenomenon

After the user uses some special characters in the self-service dataset, the function cannot be used or an error is reported.

1.2 Cause analysis

Some special characters in the self-service dataset affect the use of functions.

3. Special characters to be processed when using

3.1 Problem description

Add a new column, use the formula FIND, and enter FIND("""). Then it shows "Character error". As shown below:

3.2 Solution

When using the formula Find to find some special symbols, you need to add "\" To escape.

For example, you need to use Find to find the position of " in the value, you can use FIND("\"",field name)where "\" represents a double quote character. As shown in the following figure:

You can see that "New Store ID" field can show where " exists in the "New Store ID" field, as shown in the figure below:
