If the analysis area has a time field and the group type is "Year, Year Quarter, Year Month, Year Week", or "Month, Day", you can set the time field filtering condition to belong to or not belong to the time filtering component.
Text fields exist in the analysis area. The filter condition for the text fields can be set to belong to or not belong to the text filtering component, including text drop-down list and text list. Application scenario: Obtain the data from a year ago or from a month ago.
You can turn the filter component into a parameter to pass parameters to the target component.
For example, the user can use the filter component to dynamically change the measurement criteria of large and small orders. When the value of the drop-down component is 60000, 60000 is sent to the component for calculation and comparison. Orders with "AMOUNT" greater than 60000 are large orders and the quantity is 139.
After the value drop-down component is not bound to a field, the filter component value becomes a parameter value, and the filter component name is the parameter name.
Currently, the filter components that can be created as parameters include text component, value drop-down component, and time filter component.
For details, see: Dynamic filtering the data of the last three months on the value of the time filter component, and Finding the year-on-year and sequential data - The table dimension is date.
To create a new dashboard, first drag in a "Numerical Drop-down Filter Component" and click "OK", as shown below:
After a list is added, the filter component selects a parameter value from the drop-down list box.
Enter the filter component setting box, check "Custom Value List", add the custom value list 40000,50000,60000, and click "OK", as shown below:
If you want to manually enter a value, select the "Custom Value List" instead of adding the predefined value.
Just check the list of custom values and click "OK", as shown below:
1) Click "component" and search for the data table "FRDemo_ORDERS" in the search box, as shown below:
2) Add the calculation indicator"Order Size", enter the formula as shown in the figure below, in which "Numerical Drop-down" is the name (parameter name) of the newly created filtering component.
The order is large when the "AMOUNT" is greater than the value entered by the "Numerical Drop-down" component.
Note: The "AMOUNT" and filter component need to be selected from the left field and cannot be entered manually.
3) Make a column chart, as shown below:
4) Click "Enter the dashboard".
Users can constantly change the metrics for large and small orders.
Add a list of custom values and the effect will look like the figure below:
Do not add a custom value list. Enter a value manually and click to add it. The effect is shown below:
During field filtering on the component editing page, bind filter component parameter value to pass field filtering parameters.
For example, if you select "5" in the filtering component, the top 5 data are filtered out. Select "10" to filter out top 10 data.
Drag into the "Numerical Drop-down Component" to add the list of custom values. Note that you can only select "Single" here, as shown below:
1) Create a new component and search using "FRDemo_ORDERS", as shown below:
2) Make a group table, as shown below:
1) Click "SIGNDATE" in the analysis area and click "Filter", as shown below:
2) Click "Add Condition" and select the field "AMOUNT" as shown below:
3) Select "Largest N" and bind the filter component values of "Numerical Drop-down1", as shown below:
You can switch between the top five and top ten for the most "AMOUNT", as shown below:
The following table lists the filtering types supported by binding filtering components:
