INFORMIX data connection

Informix is a family of relational database management systems (RDBMS) produced by IBM. As an integrated solution, it is positioned as IBM's flagship online transaction processing (OLTP) data service system.

The following describes how to connect to the Informix database in FineBI.

• Download the Informix driver package, and place the driver package under %FineBI%\webapps\webroot\WEB-INF\lib, delete the original ifxjdbc.jar (if not, you don't need to delete it), and restart FineBI.

• Log in to the data decision system, select Manage>Data Connection>Data Connection Management, click "New Data Connection", and select "INFORMIX" under all options, as shown in the figure below:

• According to the configuration information provided above, enter the corresponding information of the database, and you can choose to fill in the advanced setting information (for related introduction, please refer to the configuration data connection), as shown in the following figure:

• Click "test connection" or "click to connect database" in the pattern, if the test connection is successful, it means that the database is successfully connected, as shown in the following figure:

• After the test connection is successful, you can select the pattern, and select the corresponding pattern according to your needs. If you do not select, the first pattern will be the default. As shown below:

• After the pattern is selected, click the save button in the upper right corner, and the data connection is added successfully. As shown below:
