FineDataLink supports connection to the IBM Db2 database for data reading and writing using scheduled tasks, data reading using pipeline tasks, data reading using real-time tasks, and for releasing data services.
Collect the following information before connecting FineDataLink to the database.
IP address and port number of the database server
Database name
Username and password of the database
Schema of the database to be connected
1. Log in to FineDataLink, choose System Management > Data Connection > Data Connection Management, and choose Create > Data Connection, as shown in the following figure.
2. Find the IBM Db2 icon.
3. Select Custom, add the downloaded driver, and fill in the connection information. You cannot set Schema unless the database is connected. Click Click to Connect Database and then select the schema, as shown in the following figure.
4. Click Save to save the data connection.
