Function Description

This article introduces how to connect FineDataLink to Jiandaoyun for local processing of cloud data.

Note:

If you have set the mask before (in FineDataLink earlier than 4.1.5.3), the mask will still work after the upgrade even if you have configured SSL authentication. Remove the configuration item in FineDB.

Preparation

Connection Information Collection

Collect the following information before connecting FineDataLink to the database.

Jiandaoyun API Key. For details of the obtaining method, see API.
Jiandaoyun application

Communication Status Confirmation

The FineDataLink server shall have access to the extranet, otherwise, FineDataLink cannot obtain data from Jiandaoyun.

Procedure

1. Log in to FineDataLink as the admin, choose System Management > Data Connection > Data Connection Management, click New Data Connection, and click the Jiandaoyun icon, as shown in the following figure.

Note:

If you are not the admin, you can configure data connections only after the admin assigns you permission on Data Connection under Permission Management > System Management. For details, see Data Connection Management Permission.

2. Fill in the setting items.

The following table describes the setting items.

Setting Item	Description
Data Connection Name	Fill in the data connection name, which defaults to Data Connection.
Deployment Mode	For Jiandaoyun Public Cloud Edition, select SaaS Deployment. For Jiandaoyun Private Cloud Edition, select Private Deployment. The value defaults to SaaS Deployment and cannot be empty. For FineDataLink 4.0.20 and earlier versions, the default value after the upgrade is SaaS Deployment.
API URL	If SaaS Deployment is selected, the API URL is required and defaults to empty. Note: If you use Jodoo and the deployment mode is SaaS Deployment, the API URL is https://api.jodoo.com/api. If Private Deployment is selected, the API URL is required. Enter the API URL. Generally, the format is Domain name of private cloud/api.
Jodoo API Key	Fill in the Jiandaoyun API Key, which is empty by default. For the obtaining method, see API.
Jodoo Application	The dropdown list shows the names of all applications within the enterprise. It displays empty if the retrieval fails. Support fuzzy search. Select the Jiandaoyun application to be used via this data connection. Support multi-selection.
Auto Time Zone Conversion	If selected, FineDataLink will automatically converse the time zone when synchronizing the time field from Jiandaocyun.
Time Zone	It appears when Auto Time Zone Conversion is selected, allowing for specifying a time zone, which defaults to UTC+8 (CT/CST - Central Standard Time).
Retry Times Upon Request Failure	Specify the number of repeated requests upon failure to request the form data API. (For example, the request frequency limit is exceeded.) Enter an integer between 0 and 100. The default value is 5.
TLS/SSL Authentication	It appears when Private Deployment is selected as the deployment mode. You can upload the certificate after ticking it. Note: If multiple certificates are used, the certificate names cannot be the same, otherwise they will be overwritten.

3. Click Test Connection. If the connection is successful, click Save.

Data Source Usage

You can use data from the data source for data development.
