4.2.5.4
Changed the Hierarchical Authorization button.
You (the super admin) can assign Authorization permission to departments/roles/users in Personnel Management, and those assigned permission will become sub-admins.
Then the sub-admin can assign Management permission in Personnel Management to subordinate members.
This section uses the following scenario as an example: Assign Authorization permission on Sales Dept. to the sales director and allow the director to assign Management permission to the employees of the sales department under System Management > Permission Management.
Log in to FineDataLink as the super admin, choose System Management > Permission Management, click the icon to enter Global Setting, enable Hierarchical Permission Management, and click Save, as shown in the following figure.
Log in to FineDataLink as the super admin, choose System Management > Permission Management > Authorization Configuration, and select departments/roles/users to be assigned permission to.
In this example, select Sales director in Sales Dept. On the Personnel Management tab page, assign Authorization permission on Sales Dept. to Sales director, as shown in the following figure.
In this example, select Sales director in Sales Dept. On the System Management tab page, assign Authorization permission on User Management to Sales director, as shown in the following figure.
Log in to FineDataLink as the super admin, choose System Management > Permission Management > Common Permission Configuration, and select departments/roles/users to be assigned permission to.
In this example, select Sales director in Sales Dept. On the System Management tab page, assign Use permission on Permission Management to Sales director, as shown in the following figure.
After Lisa (username/password: Lisa/1), the sales director, logs in to FineDataLink and chooses System Management > User Management, she can assign Management permission in Personnel Management to departments/roles within the scope of permission, as shown in the following figure.
After assigning Authorization permission on a parent department in Personnel Management to departments/roles/users, the lock icons next to sub-departments are grayed out, preventing you from configuring permission.
For example, after assigning Authorization permission on the parent node Technical Support to Development Dept. in Personnel Management, you will find:
1. You (the super admin) can revoke Authorization permission on the sub-node Technical Support 1 to Development Dept. in Personnel Management. A prompt is displayed when you click the lock icon, saying "Change is disallowed. Permissions assigned to sub-nodes must be consistent with those assigned to the parent source node."
2. You (the super admin) can revoke Authorization permission on the sub-node Technical Support 1 to the sub-department Development Dept.1 in Personnel Management. A prompt is displayed when you click the lock icon, saying "Change is disallowed. Permissions assigned to sub-nodes must be consistent with those assigned to the parent source node."
After assigning Authorization permission on User Management to departments/roles/users, the lock icons next to the sub-nodes of User Management are grayed out, preventing you from configuring permission.
A prompt is displayed when you click the lock icon, saying "Change is disallowed. Permissions assigned to sub-nodes must be consistent with those assigned to the parent source node." as shown in the following figure.
