You may want FineDataLink to initiate external independent data processing procedures, such as running Shell and Python scripts on remote servers. To achieve this, you must set up an SSH-based data connection to connect FineDataLink to the target remote server.
Collect the following information before connecting FineDataLink to the database.
Hostname and port number of the remote server
Username and password of the remote server
Log in to FineDataLink, choose System Management > Data Connection > Data Connection Management, and click New Data Connection.
Note: If you are not the admin, you can configure data connections only after the admin assigns you permission on Data Connection under Permission Management > System Management. For details, see Data Connection Management Permission.
2. Click the SSH Protocol icon.
3. Fill in the connection information.
The following table describes each setting item.
Fill in the SSH connection name.
An incrementing number suffix will be appended to the data connection name if the data connection already exists, for example, SSH Connection 1.
Fill in the IP address of the remote server, for example,192.168.1.123.
Fill in the SSH port number, which ranges from 1 to 65535.
Fill in the SSH password.
4. Click Test Connection. If the connection is successful, click Save to save the configuration.
For details, see Shell Script.
