Similar to SQL Statement, Table Selection allows you to fetch data in certain columns from a table and set conditions to filter data. The difference is that you can specify the table to be queried visually instead of writing statements (which is needed to set the filtering condition) when Table Selection is used.
To use SAP ERP as a data source in the scheduled task, ensure you have connected FineDataLink to SAP. For details, see SAP Data Connection.
1. Create a scheduled task and drag a Data Synchronization node onto the page. Alternatively, you can add a Data Transformation node and drag an SAP ERP operator onto the Data Transformation editing page, as shown in the following figure.
2. Select the data connection and set Configuration Method to Table Selection, as shown in the following figure.
Source Table: Enter the exact name of an existing table in the SAP system. Fuzzy search is not supported.
Data Filtering: Set the filtering condition to fetch data in the required column.
Enter the exact table name (Fuzzy search is not supported.), as shown in the following figure.
Click Data Preview. The following figure shows the fetched data given no filtering conditions.
Filtering Condition with No Parameter
Set the filtering condition referring to the OPEN SQL syntax. For example, to fetch data whose WERIKS value is 0001, enter WERKS ='0001', as shown in the following figure.
Filtering Condition with a Parameter
Use a parameter in the filtering condition to pass the variable (if any).
1. Write a conditional statement with a parameter, as shown in the following figure. This example uses the parameter b whose values include 0001.
2. Click Data Preview. The data whose WERKS value is 0001 is fetched, as shown in the following figure.
You can then process data using other operators and output it to the specified database.
