Use Permission on Database Table Management

    Application Scenario

    You (the admin) want to assign Management permission on Database Table Management to users.

    This document describes how to assign Management permission on Database Table Management to users to allow them to view and edit databases in specified data connections.

    Prerequisite

    Ensure that you have registered related functions. For details, see Registration Introduction.

    If you have enabled User Restriction, you need to select users to whom you want to assign permission as a Data Development User. For details, see Platform User.

    Example

    The example in this chapter demonstrates how to assign Management permission on Database Table Management to the user Dan, allowing Dan to view and edit databases in specified data connections.

    Assigning Use Permission on Database Table Management

    Use permission on Database Table Management should be assigned to Dan, as shown in the following figure.

    Click the  icon to enter the Global Setting page, and then enable Data Connection Control, as shown in the following figure.

    In this example, select the user Dan and assign the Use permission on the fdl_demo folder, as shown in the following figure.

    Effect Display

    After Dan logs in to FineDataLink, Dan can view and edit databases via the specified data connection, as shown in the following figure.
