V2.0.0Allowed viewing indicator information at the alert-triggering time for individual alert records.

    Function Description

Alert Record records the triggering records of alert tasks set in Alert Center when exceptions occur in an O&M project.

By reviewing alert records, you (the admin) can obtain key indicators and detailed information, such as alert occurrence time, the alert type, and the source project.

You can then quickly identify common issues, determine trends and patterns, and take appropriate actions to resolve or prevent failures or risks.

    Function Entry

FineOps supports two methods for viewing alert records. Choose as needed:

    1. View alert records of all projects in FineOps.

Log in to FineOps as the admin and choose Alert Center > Alert Record, where you can view alert records of all projects managed by FineOps.

    2. View alert records of a specific project in FineOps.

Log in to FineOps as the admin, click an O&M project, and choose Alert > Alert Record, where you can view alert records of this project.

    Alert Overview

    Application scenario:

The Alert Overview section displays the alert record count of each O&M project over time using a line chart, helping:

    • Monitor trends: If the alert record count of a specific project continues to rise, underlying issues or risks may exist and require resolution or attention. Conversely, a decrease in the alert record count indicates that the system may have been improved or optimized.

    • Prioritize projects: O&M projects with higher alert record counts may require more attention and prioritized handling. You can allocate resources and time accordingly to address the most critical and frequent issues first.

    • Implement preventive measures: Analyzing historical alert record data helps identify recurring problem patterns or event trends. You can then take preventive actions to avoid similar alert events in the future.

    • Evaluate effectiveness: If the alert record count of a project decreases after you implement a specific improvement, the measure may be effective. If the count remains unchanged or increases, reassessing the measure or implementing new measures is required.

    Procedure:

    1. Select the display time.

    • Last 24 h: The chart shows the alert record count per 15-minute interval over the past 24 hours.

    • Last 30 d: The chart shows the daily alert record count over the past 30 days.

    2. Click an O&M project.

The alert records of all O&M projects are displayed by default. You can click the O&M project name to hide/show its records.

    3. View the alert record count.

    • A line chart displays the count of triggered alert tasks for each interval and O&M project.

    • Click a point in the chart to view alert details of the corresponding time. Clicking View Alert Detail will update the data displayed in Alert Detail below.

    Viewing Alert Details

    Application scenario:

The Alert Detail section presents alert details in a detail table, including fields such as Alert Name, Alert Type, Group, Source Project, and Trigger Time, with support for filtering on the field data, which helps:

    • Statistical analysis: You can categorize and summarize alert events by alert task name and alert type to identify the frequent or severe alert events, as well as their distribution across different projects.

    • Troubleshooting: By filtering alert records by alert task name, alert type, group, source project, and trigger time, you can effectively troubleshoot issues related to alert events of specific types or alerts from particular projects.

    • Trend monitoring: By observing the trigger time field data, you can understand the temporal distribution of alert occurrences.

Procedure: Three access methods are supported.

    Filtering Alert Details

    1. Set the filtering condition.

    Filtering ConditionDescription
    Alert Name

    Manual input is supported.

The input alert name must exactly match the alert task name. Fuzzy search is not supported.

    Alert Type

    Options include Default and Custom.

Both options are ticked by default. Records of both types will be displayed if you untick both.

    Source Project

In Alert Center, you can select the O&M project from the drop-down list. All projects are selected by default. Multi-selection is supported.

On the Alert Record tab page of a specific project, project selection is not supported, and only the alert records of the current project are displayed.

    Trigger Time

You can select a time range within the past seven days from the current time.

The default range is one hour prior to the current time.

    2. Click Query.

    3. Check the alert record details after filtering, including the alert name, the alert type, the group, the source project, and the trigger timestamp.

Navigating from Alert Overview to Alert Details for a Specific Time

    1. Access the Alert Overview section.

Log in to FineOps as the admin and choose Alert Center > Alert Record > Alert Overview.

    3. View alert details.

The alert records in the Alert Detail section will be automatically filtered to display those corresponding to the time of the selected point.

Navigating from an Alert Task to Details of the Alert

Select an alert task you are interested in and click the View Alert Record icon to be redirected to the Alert Record tab page, where alert records in the Alert Detail section are automatically filtered to display the triggering records of that alert task.

Viewing Indicator Information at Alert-Triggering Time
