I. Overview
Note 1: The export function of aggregation report is unstable. For example, there is a limit on the row height when exporting an aggregation report to Word, which causes the export effect to be inconsistent with the preview effect.
Note 2: The functions of aggregation report will no longer be maintained.
1) There are three types of reports. Please see details in the document of Introduction of Report Types. Compound report, also known as aggregation report, is one of them.
2) Aggregation report has blank canvas design interface, uses cpt as the file storage type and is designed mainly by aggregated report modules and chart modules.
3) The features of the aggregation report: More than one report or chart modules can be added to one aggregation report. Modules are independent and their cell expansion does not affect each other. Cross-component calculation is supported. Nevertheless, there are some shortcomings in the aggregation report: Components jostle with each other and cannot overlap, and layout adaptation, Mobile terminal and data entry are not supported.

II. Steps
1. New aggregation report
Click Toolbar -> File -> New Aggregation Report .
2. Aggregation report interface
1) Report design interface
Preview mode: Including pagination, data analysis, data entry, new data entry.
Shortcuts: Including save, undo, redo, cut, copy, paste, delete.
Parameter pane: See 3. Parameter Interface.
Module selection: Including aggregation report modules and chart modules (excluding extended charts).
Blank design canvas.
Sheet management: add a sheet in the Aggregation Report.
Canvas zoom: adjust the size of canvas displayed on the Designer.
Module setting interface: set the attribute of a module after the module has been selected as a whole.
2) Aggregation report module interface
If there are aggregation report modules in a report, then when any one cell in it is selected, the interface will change as follows:
Aggregation report module: cell design canvas for cell operation.
Shortcuts: [Delete] becomes [Format Painter].
Cell format: Including font, font size, etc.
Cell Element: Including text, rich text, charts, etc.
Cell setting interface: Including cell elements, cell attributes, floating elements, widgets, conditional formatting, hyperlink settings.
3) Parameter interface
Click icon to enter the parameter interface.
Parameter widget selection: including text widget, number widget, etc.
Parameter pane design canvas: layout parameter widget.
Parameter management select or manage parameter widget.
Widget Settings: can set widget properties and event properties.
3. Move modules
1) Drag modules
Select a module from the left, such as an aggregation report module, keep the mouse pressed, and move the selected module to the blank canvas on the right.
When a new module is dragged to the canvas, it can only be placed in blank areas. In areas with existing modules, the system will pop up an alert showing that “The overlap between modules is prohibited”.
2) Select module
Click the polygon block in the lower right corner of the module to select the current module as a whole. Set modules on the right.
3) Change module size
Drag the rectangular blocks at the bottom left and top right of the module to change the size of the module.
4) Move modules
Select the polygon block in the lower right corner of the module and drag it. When moving a module, as long as the mouse is not released, the selected module can move across other modules and be placed in a blank space.
However, if the mouse is released when the it is moving across other modules, the module will automatically return to its original position.
4. Inter-module operation
1) View module name.
Each module has a module name, which can be modified freely. Click on the lower right corner of the aggregation module to see module name in the settings on the right.
2) Obtain value of cells in other modules
To obtain value of cells in other modules, directly use formula =module name~cell position.
E.g.: In the aggregation report module block4 below, enter 'FineReport' at A1.
In the aggregation report module block3 above, enter formula =block4~A1 at A2 to obtain the cell value at A1 in block4.
3) Preview
After saving, click Preview to view the effect.
