Function Description
The DataAnalyst app allows you to download templates to local devices for offline access even in a network-free environment.
Template Download for Offline Access During Network Connection
Offline Method
When the network is connected, you can log in to the decision-making system on your mobile device, open a single template from a directory, and click the download icon in the lower right corner to download the template for offline access.
The template is downloaded successfully for offline access when the message "Offline successfully" is displayed, as shown in the following figure.
1: Only general reports/dashboards mounted to Directory can be downloaded for offline access. FVS templates cannot be downloaded for offline access. Templates and general webpages opened through hyperlinks/homepages cannot be downloaded for offline access. 2. Maps or data entry reports cannot be downloaded for offline access. 3. When you download a multi-page template for offline access, all pages will be downloaded for offline access.
Local Location
You can view the templates that have been cached for offline access under Setting > Offline Cache. The directories storing templates cached for offline access are sorted by time.
Switchover to Online Status
The offline cache page displays an offline-to-online switchover icon at the bottom.
If the network environment is normal, you can click the switchover icon to jump to the corresponding online template. Then you can click the icon to return to the directory where the template cached for offline access is located.
If no network is connected, the message "The current network is not available. Connect to the network and try again." will be displayed. If the template is abnormal, the message "Failed to be opened." will be displayed and no redirection will be performed.
Accessing Templates Offline
Access Method
In a network-free environment, enter the correct username and password, and click Log In. Then the message "The network is not available. Use theoffline data?" is displayed.
Click Use to jump to the offline cache page where you can view the template cached for offline access.
You can click the icon in the directory where the template cached for offline access is located to return to the Setting page. In this case, you can still click Directory, Common, or Message, but the message "You are offline now. Connect the network and tap the screen for reloading." will be displayed.
After the network environment is normal, tap the screen for reloading. Then you can read the directory online.
Template Function
Offline templates are slightly different from online templates. The following describes specific differences:
1. General reports and dashboards that are opened not from directories cannot be downloaded for offline access. Maps or data entry reports cannot be downloaded for offline access.
2. Offline reports cannot be filtered, favorited, or shared. Such buttons are not available on toolbars.
3. An offline multi-page report displays page-turning buttons at the bottom toolbar.
4. Offline reports do not support parameter query, frontend JS methods, or hyperlink linkage.
5. If a report where an image has been uploaded through a file widget is downloaded for offline access, the uploaded image cannot be displayed and the file widget is inavailable.
6. If a dashboard with tabs is downloaded for offline access, data in all parameter-linked tabs is downloaded for offline access by default, and tabs are switchable during offline access.
7. When you click the offline-to-online switchover icon, the message "The current network is not available. Connect to the network and try again." will be displayed if no network is connected, or the message "Failed to be opened." will be displayed if the template is abnormal.

If a template already downloaed for offline access is re-downloaded for offline access, the original offline template will be overwritten and updated, and all offline templates will be re-sorted by update time.

Swipe left with your finger and click the displayed deletion icon to delete the offline template, as shown in the following image.
